In 1998, as part of our 50th Anniversary the congregation raised over $12,000 to place bells on our tower and have the sounds of carillons fill the air.

After much thought and prayer and encouragement from the Grand Canyon Synod, it was decided to start a Hispanic Ministry (El Camino a Christo) using our facility as the center. In 2004 Pastor Grace Rivera came to start this new mission, along with the help of our congregation. Unfortunately, as a year passed it became obvious that it was not taking hold and in 2006 Pastor "Grace" was asked by the Synod to end this ministry.

In 2006, Pastor Bowker decided to retire and in the summer of that year Pastor Loren Swanson was assigned as our Transitional Pastor. Pastor Loren was installed as our Pastor on January 20, 2008.
