SERVICE AND SUPPORT…
What a busy month and a very productive one too!
First we’d like to thank all the workers that made the Spaghetti Dinner
a complete success. Kelly prepared the tickets, advertising and
requesting donations— Donna, Jerry and Kelly prepared the spaghetti meal
and the members of Service and Support were there to help. So, thank
you to Jean Gable, Jan Ibrahim, Gini Train, Del Quill, Eileen Ward, Lee
Williams, Ken and Ange Stange and I’m sure I saw Ilean Shelton at the
sink during clean-up. We even had Minerva help “watch the pot” as they
say, and she also helped in setting up and decorating the tables.
Thrivent was again generous with their matching funds. One of the great
attributes of our congregation is that everyone is willing to help and
it makes our functions easier and great fun for everyone.

Tickets are $9.99 and includes an All-U-Can eat buffet and $50.00 in “funny money”.
The proceeds will be used to make necessary repairs to the church sanctuary.
Thrivent will match funds raised.
We’ll enjoy a fun afternoon of games and will have a Chinese Auction!
Start looking around now for “good” items to donate for the Chinese Auctions. You can drop them off at the church office, but be sure to mark the items “Chinese Auction”.
