  Double your pleasure, Double your fun. . . With  The Watanabe Organ Duo four hands, four feet in recital Friday, April 11, 2008 7:30 P.M. Doc Rando Recital Hall, UNLV Kiyo and Chiemi Watanabe are the  young and dynamic performers in this duo-organist husband and wife team from Texas.  Their program will include works by Handel, Merkel, Robin Dinda, Jongen, Barrie Cabena and Liszt.  The Watanabes will lead a workshop on the Doc Rando stage on Saturday morning, April 12, from 10:00 A.M. to noon, exploring the duet literature for the organ.  The Maurine Jackson Smith Memorial  Organ in Doc Rando Hall is the largest pipe organ in Nevada.  Both the recital and workshop are open to the public without charge.


 

HABITAT FOR HUMANITY

On Sunday, April 27th, Terry West will hold a meeting in Edwins’ Hall after the 9:30  Worship   Service to discuss the Habitat for Humanity         program.  We’ll have our coffee and “cookies”      during his presentation.  If you have any questions, please ask Eileen Ward.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

LENTEN SERVICES

As we begin our 3rd Sunday of Easter, we want to thank everyone for their participation of our Lenten Services and our “Soup and Sandwiches” before the services.
