Needs List for Lutheran Social Services of Nevada
April 22, 2008
As we prepare to move to new offices on
June 1, 2008, we have need for several items and services. These will help to
expedite the move and also to assist in providing a positive environment for
employees and clients going forward.
If you or anyone you know has access to
anything on the list and would be willing to contribute to LSSN, we will be
happy to provide a donation letter for them. As you know, LSSN is a 501 (c) (3)
tax-exempt organization and their donations would be tax deductible, as the tax
code allows.

3 Large, rolling bins – to move food
donations from trucks to pantry (i.e. commercial laundry bins)

Large scale to weigh food donations

2 Large flatbed carts for food
donations (i.e. Costco’s, Sam’s Club)

5 Laptop computers

Server for networking and
information storage

Software and set-up and maintenance
for server

Small defibrillator for emergency
medical assistance, with training for entire staff

2 Decorative area rugs

3 LSSN Banners for use at community
events, conventions, meetings

Projector for presentations (for use
with laptops – Power Point presentations)

2 Desktop printers

Office chairs

Guest chairs

$$$ for paint and minor repairs

Trucks and bodies to assist with the
actual move on or about June 1 and with painting offices just prior to the
move

Landscaping assistance for our
transitional housing apartments at 618 W. Washington, including matting and
installation of a donated jungle gym set

Interior (hard flooring, appliances,
furniture, paint) and exterior renovation (landscaping and addition of
laundry room with washers and dryers) of transitional housing apartments at
